TIA to Host ICT Green Hall at Sustainability Virtual Summits

Manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of greener information and communications technology invited to exhibit at first event, Feb. 9-11, 2010.

Arlington, Va. – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leader in advocacy, standards development, business development and intelligence for the information and communications technology industry, has announced its support as an ICT Global Leader sponsor of the Sustainability Virtual Summits virtual event series, which is focused on information and communications technologies (ICTs) that will dramatically contribute to mitigating the effects of global climate change.
 

The first event, "Sustainability Virtual Summits: Smart ICT," will be held live online, February 9-11, 2010, with a staggered schedule over the three-day period to provide participants with optimal viewing times in the United States/Latin America, Europe and Asia.
 

Programming will focus on development of sustainable ICT solutions for virtualization, dematerialization, Smart ICT and collaboration. The program will be available on-demand through May 2010.
 

In addition to keynoting at the event, TIA will host the ICT Green Hall, an online green exhibition hall within the Sustainability Virtual Summits: Smart ICT event.
