TIA panel of experts - featuring former FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth - to assess urgent threat to broadband posed by FCC’s newly proposed regulation this Friday, May 21, at 11 a.m. (EDT).
Washington, D.C. – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which represents manufacturers of broadband equipment, products and services, will host a Webinar to inform the information and communications technology (ICT) industry about the threat it faces by the FCC's proposal to reclassify broadband as a Title II service.
TIA's panel of broadband policy experts will feature noted economist and former FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth, following a summary of the issue by Russell Hanser, Wilkinson, Barker & Knauer. TIA's free Webinar will focus on educating the ICT industry on the potential effects of FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski's proposal. TIA Vice President for Government Affairs Danielle Coffey will moderate.
