Aims to provide unique and customized solutions to global Telecom players
Barcelona, 15 February, 2011: Tech Mahindra, India’s leading provider of IT and consulting services to the telecommunications industry has entered into an alliance with Microsoft Corp. to offer Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for telecom service providers. As a part of the initiative, Tech Mahindra will deploy Mahindra Satyam’s “iDecisionsTM for telecom” onto a Microsoft platform which will enable both companies to offer customizable BI solutions to their customers. The BI solutions cover all major aspects of the telecom industry decision-making spectrum and would be available on a single platform consisting of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010 with a defined roadmap to move this to a cloud-based offering using Windows Azure later this year.
iDecisionsTM for telecom is a unique and powerful solution, which incorporates industry best practices into an analytical application suite that turns decision making from an art to a science. Coupled with Microsoft’s BI toolset; it works as a BI solution accelerator, offering an intuitive and sophisticated analytical framework for the telecommunication industry in the area of Customer Intelligence, Usage Intelligence, Revenue Intelligence, Marketing Intelligence and Network Intelligence.
The solution help to organize and analyze the complex barrage of information generated across a Telco organization to provide analytical engines for efficient analysis; help generate required reports on demand; identify the most profitable customers; assess promotional campaign effectiveness; forecast network growth; manage fraud; reduce churn and help to create a more efficient business model.
