Google goes for handwritten input to mobile search on Android, iOS

Google has a new tool for users to input queries by writing with their fingers. By Jason Ankeny.

 Handwrite is optimised for smartphones running Google Android version 2.3 and up, tablets running Android 4.0 and for Apple’s iOS 5. Users can input searches almost anywhere on the device touchscreen, eschewing virtual keyboards.
