Codgertations has been specially designed as part of a palliative care programme for industry veterans (old codgers) Martyn Warwick and Ian Scales who, with the caring assistance of the occasional guest codger, cogitate and ruminate on the week's best, worst and most amusing stories in telecoms.
This week, Ian and guest Robert Coren 'codgertate' on the annual outing of Apple's roll-neck; Nokia's saving grace with pedal-power; and iPhone 4's re-invention of mobile video calls as "no threat" Google looks likely to make a voice play.

Please stop the chattering teeth bouncing across the screen. It is really annoying. Also, please normalize the sound. The level is very low. I have to turn up the volume to 100% on my computer. I enjoy this program, but there is much more to talk about in the industry than Apple.

Thanks for this weekly rant about all things telecom. It really is wonderfully refreshing, always brings a smile as well as those choice nuggets of informative and incisive analysis! What more could one ask for :-) I particularly enjoyed the raving the other week about Sprint applying superfluous "G's" to their network upgrade in order to imply some kind of superiority.

Not seen anything like this before - please keep up the great work!
