Sony Ericsson is a big casualty of the global recession. It has posted disappointing sales figures and recorded a sharp decline in handset sales. However, it seemed to be set for a comeback when its new flagship device, the Satio, was launched. But a plague of software bugs prompted a massive recall in the UK last week. So, are all hopes now riding on the success of the Android X10? Sony Ericsson can't afford another expensive embarrassment.
