CTIA Announced New Strategic Partner iconectiv for Common Short Code Registry Services

WASHINGTON and PISCATAWAY, NJCTIA-The Wireless Association® announced today iconectiv, a leading provider of solutions that enable communication service providers to interconnect networks, devices and applications, is its new strategic partner for its Common Short Code (CSC) Registry Services. iconectiv will provide these services starting January 1, 2016.

CSCs are five or six digit codes that enterprises and businesses use to engage customers via text message. CTIA administers the CSC program and the registry website (www.usshortcodes.com) to enable the procurement of codes. Established by CTIA and its member companies, the CSC program institutes industry best practices and preserves the brand integrity of companies using these codes to engage with their customers. iconectiv will leverage its expertise and industry positioning to support CSC Registry Services to ensure a con[tinued safe, fair and open messaging marketplace. CTIA conducted a competitive RFP evaluation process for identifying a new vendor to manage CSC Registry Services.
