HPE and KIOXIA work together to develop storage fit for the rigours of telecom applications

At Mobile World Congress 2023, Neville Ichhaporia, senior vice president and general manager of the SSD business unit at KIOXIA America, and Norm Follett, senior director of space technologies and solutions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, discussed their partnership and explained how they are creating storage fit for the rigours of telecom applications. Together, the companies are delivering innovative solutions, such as for the Spaceborne-2 programme where they provide NVMe and SAS SSDs, and are working closely to support the HPE servers and to better understand how the solid-state drives will behave in the harsh environments of space.
