Kuala Lumpur – U Mobile, Malaysia’s future second 5G network provider, has become the first telco in Malaysia to launch its Open API Portal based on the Open GSMA Initiative to boost industry innovation. The initiative is expected to accelerate the development of new services and solutions by providing developers, partners, and businesses access to U Mobile’s suite of APIs, allowing them to integrate and co-create services and solutions with the telco seamlessly, thereby enabling businesses to leverage 5G services to transform their operations.

The suite of APIs will create various benefits and opportunities for partners such as:

• Ease of integration of messaging, voice, data, and network services

• An intuitive interface that streamlines the development process

• A safe and secured isolated environment for testing and experimenting with APIs

• Dedicated support and community for co-creation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
