Car is being seen as a connected device, says Martin and that, along with other trends, means that the network is right at the centre of all motor activities. So BT is supporting smart manufacturing to help the industry to continue to shake costs out of its operations. And it offers global connectivity - crucial as production is moved around the world - as well as cloud services and connections to their key Tier One and Tier Two component suppliers. Making all that connectivity secure is what counts.
