Introduction to Day Two of the three-day Cloud Native Telco summit, with TelecomTV’s Guy Daniels and Ray Le Maistre. We preview what to expect from the second day, which looks at how to operationalise Cloud Native. Despite this being the age of automation - this process starts with people. In fact, ‘People and Processes’ was identified last year as the most important aspect of the move to cloud native telcos, and the same is probably true this year. The problem is skills acquisition. There’s a realisation that telcos need to sell themselves better, to create a better environment for cloud software developers, and to change the image of the fusty old-school network operator.
