Cloud-native has led to huge improvements in application development through to delivery at scale, but it also adds complexity to telco software teams. Platform engineering aims to solve this by creating an internal developer platform that will integrate the numerous tools and technologies required for full lifecycle management of applications, freeing up developer time and enabling a more efficient cloud-native culture.
