Dan explains how Vlocity works alongside Salesforce to assist CSPs’ transformation efforts. In fact, they were working so well together that Salesforce has signed an agreement to acquire Vlocity in which it’s long been an investor. Dan explains that most CSPs use Salesforce-based CRM as the core of their transformation efforts and Vlocity is able to complement that with CSP-specific applications such as enterprise product catalogue, order management, and digital commerce services as well as pre-built processes and product models. Dan estimates that Vlocity and Salesforce together serve 60 companies.
