Via Intel Newsroom

Aug 24, 2015

What happens when you combine 83 robots, 733 motors, 1,004 LEDs, 32 cameras and 88 Intel® Edison™ based-platforms? An army of Intel Spiderbots of course! Intel’s Spiderbots made a splash this week, performing a synchronized dance for a few thousand developers attending the Intel Developer Forum 2015 in San Francisco. Powered by the Intel® Edison™ platform the Spiderbots responded to gesture control using a wrist worn device based on the Intel® Curie™ module, a tiny hardware product for wearable devices. Watch this video to see how the Spiderbots were created and how they got those awesome moves.
