Cegeka shareholders boost growth potential for Citymesh

The shareholders of the leading IT company Cegeka are giving their subsidiary, Citymesh, more room to grow and achieve their ambitious goals. Both organizations, Citymesh and Cegeka will remain under the control of Cegeka’s main shareholder and founder, André Knaepen, but the structure will change with Citymesh transitioning from a subsidiary to a sister company. This move aims to optimize growth opportunities for both Citymesh and Cegeka.

"I want to emphasize that this change is being made at the shareholder level. It has no impact on the customers and employees of Citymesh and Cegeka. Both organizations will continue to offer comprehensive, tailor-made solutions to our clients as privileged partners, with the same expertise and service they are accustomed to," explained André Knaepen, Chairman of Cegeka's Board of Directors.

Thanks to this move, Citymesh and Cegeka will gain strategic and financial flexibility, allowing them to focus on their unique business structures and specific market needs. "We believe that both companies can grow faster independently with this new structure. We are giving both Cegeka and Citymesh the opportunity to seize market opportunities while maintaining their distinct identities and at the pace necessary for success," said Knaepen.

Citymesh will continue to focus on connectivity activities, (5G) networks, drones, and telecommunications in the future.
