IDC: Sovereign Cloud Market in Asia/Pacific* to Hit $36.7 Billion in 2027
SINGAPORE – According to a recent IDC report titled Asia/Pacific excluding Japan (APeJ) Sovereign Cloud Forecast, 2022- 2027, the APeJ sovereign cloud market is set to surge, forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 31.5% and reach $36.7 billion by 2027. APeJ Sovereign Cloud spending grew at a year-over-year (YoY), and IDC expects the sovereign cloud market to grow at 34.3% in 2024 as organizations in the region ramp up investments in sovereign cloud solutions as part of the growing deployment of their hybrid cloud strategy.
