Panel Discussion
Deutsche Telekom and its vendor partners have established a set of co-creation programs that are running in parallel with the main NIMS (next generation IMS) development. These programs address specific issues such as the path to cloud-native, improved scaling and performance support and the application of ML/AI-based operational models. It requires a Continuous Service Improvement process to measure vendor component lifecycles against DT’s ‘3,2,1,0,’ vision. The process requires the transparency for each software component that details how long it takes to roll out a new release or patch, resolve issues and other metrics that affect DT’s ability to deliver on its time-to-market and total cost of ownership goals.
