Abstract/Presentation overview
In this presentation, we will cover three topics that are considered very important for the adoption of ETSI NFV Standards, from the point of view of a company that actively contributes to ETSI OSM while productizing and deploying the software for network operators.
First, the advancements in the alignment with ETSI NFV Standards in Open Source MANO, including standards for packaging, descriptors modeling, northbound interface, EM/VNF management interfaces, and ETSI MEC Integration.
Second, some experiences of deploying ETSI OSM in production environments will be shared, including initial feedback from the field on ETSI NFV standards adoption, Network Functions orchestration, and some challenges of ETSI NFV MANO looking forward.
Finally, we will share the experience of testing Open Source MANO in the latest ETSI NFV Plugtests. This includes testing NBI conformance to SOL005 and supporting VNF providers with the adoption of a standard model.
