Live Q&A
As part of the ETSI NFV Evolution series of programmes, a panel of NFV experts answers audience questions about NFV and the role of the ETSI ISG.
Questions include: To promote NFV standards to other areas, such as RAN or MEC, will other SDOs or open source communities need to adopt ETSI NFV specifications for their own areas? How can we decouple the dependence with hardware pooling and move towards a true NFV deployment? Could the lack of technical training in NFV technology be one of the barriers preventing wider deployment of NFV technology? Is NFV still relevant in 2021? Won’t vendors just make sure their apps work OK on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud? What are the top items that need to be urgently addressed in NFV Release 5?
