The increasing importance of the ecosystem to VNF vendors

NFV creates an agile and fast way of delivering new features and benefits for CSPs, as well as providing them with a choice of vendors in composing their solutions and the flexibility to easily exchange components when necessary. Ecosystems will become increasingly important, as telcos request greater cooperation and openness between its technology partners. This is where the pre-testing of VNFs becomes essential, because of the multi-vendor landscape – they all need to be tested and together and proven to be interoperable before they reach the operator.
