As the MEF increases its focus and work on lifecycle services orchestration (LSO), it becomes crucial that the industry ensures full Service Assurance within the LSO framework, overcoming the many challenges in orchestrating and assuring services over both physical and virtual networks. It is also important that the industry works to align its standards work between the major industry bodies and various standards organisations.
