The introduction of higher frequencies, way in excess of 6GHz, in 5G networks gives rise to challenging conditions for test and measurement. These frequencies have very different propagation characteristics to today's cellular technologies, and environmental factors, such as the limiting effect of walls and glass on higher frequencies, need to be fully understand.
