Accenture and VMware: a "powerful" collaboration advancing OpenRAN technology together

TelecomTV met with Lakshmi Mandyam of VMware and Andy Walker of Accenture at #MWC2022 discuss the partnership they announced last year and how they see the OpenRAN technology evolve after the companies were both involved in early trials.
"2022 and 2023 are really the years of 5G deployments and ORAN. This re-architecture of the network is something that has not happened in decades," Walker said. "I think that what we're putting together is incredibly powerful and I think we'll see it all over the world. And I'm super excited to be working with VMware on it."
