Why Canonical is taking a managed services approach to OpenStack with Ubuntu

Open Source is where it all starts, but enterprises and telcos look to their vendor partners for actual commercial solutions and support. Canonical, thorough Ubuntu, is taking a more managed services approach with OpenStack, differentiating the company from other OpenStack vendors. CEO Mark Shuttleworth explains that Canonical continues to support the telco sector and sees growth in NFV and the network edge.
