Red Hat, the enterprise software company, recently launched its telecoms practice which focuses on OpenStack and NFV and networking for CSPs as well as the provision of consultancy services. The aim is to take the best innovations coming out of the upstream Opensource communities and ecosystems and turn them into commercial-grade enterprise products so that CSPs can scale and build their business and offerings based on the new technologies. The labs are a catalyst for turning projects into products.
