Innovation in SDN and NFV is occurring at every level of the stack. At the infrastructure level SDN is making the network more programmable, more agile and simpler to use. At the platform layer, innovation is taking place in management and orchestration and how telcos leverage their resources. And at the application layer, innovation abounds, whether its around back-up services, disaster recovery, or tailored around vertical market services.
