Advantech Video Feature
Advantech has been busy collaborating with partners to enable the NFV network ‘edge’. In this video Paul Stevens, Marketing Director for the Networks & Communications Group at Advantech, explains the company’s strategy and, with the help of partner representatives, he outlines three important recent moves. First, a ‘proof of concept’ demo at Mobile Edge Computing Congress in Munich with Brocade. Then, Advantech and Wind River announced the expansion of their remote evaluation services platform, which allows remote testing of Wind River Titanium Edge Server, edge devices. That means service providers can easily start development on edge devices for remote locations. Then Advantech announced its participation in Versa Networks SD-WAN white box ecosystem, which gives SPs a wider choice of platforms and allows them to quickly deploy zero touch provisioning services.
