Irdeto’s Cardless Conditional Access system (Cloaked CA) was selected over other conditional access vendors, ensuring that United Group’s investment in premium content remains safe, enabling United Group to grow their footprint in the region.

Irdeto’s Cloaked CA client was integrated into United Group’s latest satellite HEVC-enabled STB zapper concept, that was also developed with Irdeto for both VIVACOM and TotalTV DTH platforms, both part of United Group. Irdeto Cloaked CA is the most advanced and most widely deployed cardless conditional access system for broadcast operators worldwide. Leveraging Irdeto’s exclusive core security technology (Cloakware® Software Protection) to protect both the content and the software itself, Cloaked CA is recognized by all major Hollywood studios and has been repeatedly certified for premium content protection by independent industry auditors.
