How carrier wi-fi can provide valuable indirect revenue for telcos

Although wi-fi might generate some revenue on its own, such as daily service access, it is not sufficient to make the case for carrier wi-fi for mobile operators. But a telco can use carrier wi-fi to reduce the capacity demand on the rest of the network, freeing up valuable cellular capacity to support new subscribers and give a better service to existing ones.
