Bill Clee, CEO, Asset Mapping
In simple terms asset mapping is about attaching a device to an ‘asset’ and equipping it to detect a fault and trigger an alarm so an engineer to come and fix it. Simple. But then asset mapping can do much more than this. Bill Clee explains how he saw the potential ‘network effects’ of making simple connections across as many different categories of ‘asset’ as possible to get profound management benefits. The key is to have an open and agnostic system so you can communicate with all the different proprietary platforms.
