The After Show was broadcast live at the end of Day Two of Spotlight on 5G week. TelecomTV’s Guy Daniels and Ray Le Maistre were joined by panelists for this end-of-day question and answer session. Among the questions raised by our audience were:
- How far are CSPs away from real "plug & play" Open RAN systems from multiple OEMs in the same network?
- What can be done in RAN to make inbuilding coverage better for 5G?
- When will there be a lot of 5G small cells deployed? And does it make sense for all operators to share small cells instead of building out their own?
- Is there much difference between private network RAN systems and the ones the public MNOs use? Is it all the same tech?
We also feature the first installment of our Uncorked series, where we take a look at the major wine producing regions of Spain, with Pierre Mansour, Director of Wine at The Wine Society.
