Sushil Rawat, director of RAN strategy at Telus, and Scott Walker, global vice president of telco at Wind River, discuss how their partnership has helped the Canadian operator to successfully trial Open RAN systems in Ontario, ahead of a much broader commercial rollout that will start later this year. Telus expects 50% of its network to be Open RAN-enabled within the next few years, noted Rawat.
