At MWC23 in Barcelona, Gil Hellmann, VP of solutions engineering at Wind River, told TelecomTV that the adoption of Open RAN has been slow because the industry is currently 'sitting on the fence' but added that the benefits of the technology are too vast for it not to become successful soon.
