Matt Williams, Managing Director EMEA, Telstra - Speaking to a lot of customers it is evident that they are having problems getting their digital journey started as well as keeping it going. Transformation is much more at the business level than just technology.
Stephen Hackett, Director Cloud Solutions Development, ScanSource - Business users not sure where to go to get the right information and support about things like UCAS, Cloud born services. Scansource has a band of trusted advisors who can have those conversations with the businesses and build a relationship with the different providers of technology and services.
Nigel Stevenson, Director Market Development, EMEA, Telco and Edge Cloud BU, VMware - Understanding the vertical industries is critical. The combination of 5G, Edge, Network slicing all can help up the value chain. Value has got to become more vertical. Can the telcos take the value up the stack or is it a partner play?
Paul Adams, Director, Field Marketing, Europe, Nokia - The problem is that there are plenty of companies providing services into both consumer and business market who aren’t telecoms oriented! Private network opportunities have been a feature of 2019 and will continue to be in 2020. However, whilst this represents an opportunity for companies like Nokia, the need for some organisational restructuring is essential to underpin the role of the telco in the enterprise market.
