Softwarisation and the public cloud

The softwarisation of telcos doesn’t necessarily mean a full move to the public cloud. While there is much talk about the need to move workloads and apps to the public cloud, arguably the first issue is the need to continue disaggregation and transform into a software-based operator. Breaking away from integrated hardware dependencies and adopting cloud-native practices is necessary before you can execute a successful public cloud strategy. So what’s the best approach?
