BroadSoft introduces UC-One Connect and UC-One Meet to enrich the mobile experience

Latest BroadSoft UC-One communication and collaboration mobile apps streamline messaging and enable one-click entry to conference calls

BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT), a global unified communication software as a service (UCaaS) leader, has released two new mobile-first UC-One® apps that can significantly improve the productivity and user experience of workers on the move. Combined with the BroadSoft Business portfolio of unified communications, team collaboration and contact center applications, they provide a complete mobile-first cloud PBX experience, designed to streamline workflow, enhance the mobile experience, and enable business professionals to be just as productive whether they are mobile or at their desks.

UC-One Connect

With 83% of workers now using their mobile devices at work1 , messaging apps have become central to effective workplace collaboration. Optimized for the mobile experience, UC-One Connect allows workers to bring their office wherever they go, enabling them to chat, check presence and call using your business identity from their personal Apple or Android mobile devices.

UC-One Meet

UC-One Meet saves time and inconvenience by enabling users to join and host conference calls with one-touch from their mobile phone, using their business identity. This helps solve the problem of almost 37% of meetings starting late2 and many being abandoned altogether, due to the difficulty of locating conference call codes and dial-in numbers while on the move.

BroadSoft is trusted by over 600 service providers around the world, including 25 of the top 30 by revenue. The full BroadSoft Business UC-One portfolio includes instant messaging and presence, audio and video collaboration, desktop and file sharing, advanced voice features, and mobile applications.

“We developed UC-One Connect and UC-One Meet with the mobile experience front of mind, so that joining a conference call can be done with one click” said Scott Hoffpauir, chief technology officer, BroadSoft. “When much of our working day involves being away from our desk, teams are relying more upon quick and mobile communications to keep productive and connected. UC-One Connect and UC-One Meet address the key communications problems faced when on the go. Our aim with these apps is to make work simpler.”
