Plano, TX and Sydney, Australia, October 13, 2016 GENBAND , a leading provider of real-time communications solutions today announced that Converged Communications Network Applications Pty Ltd (CCNA) a solution and service provider of converged Voice, Video, Application and data solutions for Enterprise and Government in Australia and New Zealand, has added the Nuvia cloud platform to its solutions resale portfolio. GENBAND’s Nuvia service, part of the Kandy Business Solutions portfolio of communications solutions for the 21st century, provides a suite of market-ready desktop, mobile and web-optimized business communications services to small businesses and large enterprises.

“Until now, no one has provided Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) with fluid, integrated and capability-rich Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution in our market,” said Craig Sims, Operations Director and CCNA Co-Founder. “Small and medium businesses now have the ability to stay connected by audio, video or chat in a single, intuitive app. This is truly a game-changer for these businesses.”

Many SMBs rely on off-the-shelf OTT applications to stay in touch with geographically dispersed or traveling employees. Built for consumers, these applications fail to provide the required features, reliability and security business communications depend on. The Nuvia client enables real-time, secure unified communications: users can share messages, files, photos, and location, screenshare or start a conference call with a simple click, keeping everyone informed and streamlining processes.

“Nuvia is easy to deploy, simple to use and virtually maintenance-free,” added David O’Connor, GENBAND’s Senior Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific. “We applaud CCNA for their commitment to empowering their business customers to manage their costs, improve productivity and deliver a superior experience.”

The official launch will take place on October 20, 2016 in Sydney, Australia, with an event for customers, partners and media.
