Chip Shot: Intel Makes it a "Snap" to See Inside the Cloud

Today at the Tectonic Summit, Intel announced that it has delivered a way for system administrators to get a much more comprehensive view of its cloud infrastructure capabilities, utilization and events in real time.

Called "Snap," this open source platform telemetry framework makes it easier to access data about the underlying infrastructure running a cloud environment. With Snap-enabled software tools, full automation and orchestration of workloads across server, storage and network resources is a reality.
