“Unrestricted data volumes! Unlimited entertainment! Wherever and whenever I want – no worries!” No such thing? Yes there is! And it’s at Deutsche Telekom. Starting now, customers using the new DayFlat unlimited pass can surf the Internet as much as they like on their mobile network and stream movies, music and videos without using up the data allowance on their plan. They can also download and send even large volumes of data on their smartphone or tablet while out and about.
The new day pass with an unlimited data flat rate is valid for 24 hours and can be added to any MagentaMobil contract for just 4.95 euros and to Data Comfort plans for 9.95 euros. Naturally, this option can also be added to other smartphone and tablet plans as required, using the flexible service at pass.telekom.de.
A breather for data volumes
“The new add-on is unique on the market and gives our customers the opportunity to surf the Internet and use data-intensive services without any data limits for 24 hours. This lets them stream music and videos without eating into the data allowance on their plan,” says Michael Hagspihl, Head of Consumers at Telekom Deutschland.
Additional benefits for all new customers and customers switching plans: They get DayFlat unlimited added to their MagentaMobil or Data Comfort plan for 31 days free of charge, giving them an unrestricted data allowance for their first month.
Unlimited mobile surfing all the time – even in the U.S., Canada and Turkey
For special customer requirements, Deutsche Telekom now offers MagentaMobil XL Premium, the first mobile plan in the German market with a full data flat rate. For 199.95 euros per month, the new premium plan includes:
- Flat-rate Internet with unlimited data, including LTE Max
- Flat-rate calls and text messages to all German networks
- HotSpot Flat
- EU-Flat Plus, including the U.S., Canada and Turkey
- Two additional Multi-SIM cards for using the full flat rates on a total of up to three devices
- Landline telephone number
- A new top smartphone every 12 months
Thanks to the new EU-Flat Plus component included in the premium plan, customers no longer have to give a second thought to using their plan in any EU country or in Switzerland, the U.S., Canada or Turkey. Surfing, calling, texting – MagentaMobil XL Premium has it all covered. What’s more, customers who have a fixed-network line with Deutsche Telekom, and therefore also have the MagentaEINS benefit, can text and call mobiles and landlines in EU countries, Switzerland, the U.S., Canada and Turkey from Germany, whether at home or on the move.
Even more speed – LTE Max on all LTE contracts
But that’s not all: To mark the IFA trade show, Deutsche Telekom is boosting speed across all LTE-compatible mobile plans to LTE Max at no extra cost. As in the past, existing customers will also benefit from the plan upgrade, which will see Deutsche Telekom mobile customers surfing the mobile Internet with speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s, courtesy of the best LTE network.
Even customers with older mobile contracts or devices will be able to enjoy higher speeds, with transfer rates in the 3G network automatically increasing to up to 42.2 Mbit/s. Naturally, adding the SpeedOn option ensures that the highest possible speed is adopted.
