Sonera has made an indicative offer for Anvia

Telia Company’s Finnish arm Sonera has made an indicative cash offer to acquire 100 percent of Anvia, a regional fixed line telecommunications operator in Finland, for EUR 130 million on a cash and debt free basis.

Anvia’s network is located in Western Finland and covers three cities, Vaasa, Seinäjoki and Kokkola, and smaller towns, reaching more than 100,000 households. In 2015 Anvia’s net sales amounted to EUR 63.5 million, EBITDA to EUR 15.2 million and EBITDA margin was 23.9 percent.

“Sonera is highly interested in pursuing the transaction and is ready to commit all necessary resources to carry out the process on an expedited basis”, says Valdur Laid, CEO of Sonera.
