Telecom Italia: Giorgio Valerio appointed Lead Independent Director

The Board of Directors, which met today at TILab in Turin, assigned the role of Lead Independent Director for the current year to Director Giorgio Valerio, who takes over from Ms Francesca Cornelli, who the Board thanked for her work.
As resolved on 5 August 2014, the term of office of the Lead Independent Director is one year, expiring at the Shareholders' Meeting called to approve the financial statements of the corresponding year.
