ETSI is good at bringing standards together and orchestrating rather than specifying things itself. It's something that's been done for the past 25 years, David Boswarthwick,Technical Officer at ETSI, tells Martyn Warwick. That's been a good thing since it's allowed the entry of the IT influence into telecoms. The next step is to develop the solutions he says.
