Harmonic has co-developed a software-scalable server for video processing on HP Enterprise’s Moonshot platform, Jeff tells Guy Daniels. With Moonshot, he says, the customer gets a head-end for video in a box - it’s very scalable and flexible for software based video processing, an area which is seeing a lot of demand. With the software-based solution customers can scale up and roll out service very quickly.
