Vodafone UK has announced it will be adding Amazon Prime and YouTube Premium to its star-studded line-up of content partners. Customers can enjoy entertainment on their Pay Monthly contracts and stream films, music or video on-the-go. Vodafone UK customers can now choose from Amazon Prime, YouTube Premium, Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium and Now TV as content partners for their mobile contract.
The two new additions from Vodafone mean that customers can enjoy ad-free and uninterrupted videos and music on YouTube Premium, or stream thousands of films and TV shows on Amazon Prime.
Max Taylor, Consumer Director at Vodafone UK, said: “Keeping our customers connected to the people and things that they love the most is our number one priority.
“That is why we are delighted to be the first UK operator to give our customers access to Amazon Prime and YouTube Premium as part of their mobile plan.
“We really are keeping our customers connected to the things they love wherever they may be on the UK’s best mobile data network.”
Those who choose Amazon Prime will also receive unlimited free delivery and exclusive access to deals and discounts, as well as other perks such as Prime Now and Prime Wardrobe.
On top of this, Amazon Prime subscribers will also enjoy access to Twitch Prime – this includes gaming content, a Twitch channel subscription and a collection of games every month.
Lisa Leung, Director, Head of Prime at Amazon, said: “We are delighted to offer Vodafone customers Amazon Prime membership for the duration of their contract. Amazon Prime provides the best of shopping and entertainment from Amazon.
“Now, with a range of exciting benefits for everyone, we look forward to making Prime accessible to more members across the UK.”
Customers who already have Amazon Prime with Vodafone (and have three or more months left on their contract) will be automatically upgraded to the full Amazon Prime offering for the remaining duration of their contract.
