Justin Doucette, Head of Wi-Fi, Nokia
Nokia has announced its first Wi-Fi 6E device – the WiFi Beacon 10. It supports 10Gbit/s throughput over Wi-Fi, has two gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one 2.5 GE LAN port. It also supports the standards that communications service providers are looking for, from certified Wi-Fi 6E and EasyMesh for the mesh networking to TR-369/USP for device management and Linux containers for new value-add services. Justin Doucette, head of Wi-Fi at Nokia, explains how the Beacon 10 addresses the current market demands and trends, and what sets it apart from other products in the market.
