David De Klerck, Associate Director Carrier Product and Strategy Europe, Verizon

Verizon customers are already buying a range of automated products and services and would like to have access a lot more. To help them in that quest, Verizon, increasingly, is developing products with the help of those very customers. Thus, these days, Verizon's clientele have a direct route and creative input and impact on what the company develops for them. This process is called "co-creation". David de Klerck says the methodology helps Verizon to work with the vendor community to help them develop the "right stuff" that Verizon itself, as a CSP, needs to ensure that that it's customers get what they really need. He says the best thing vendors can do is collaborate and work together as a community to help CSPs deliver solutions that customers are clamouring for, such as zero touch provisioning and service chaining.
